What stays on your device

Playroomy uses your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device, to remember:

• Light or dark mode, and whether sound is on.
• Names and keep-apart pairs you type into the team generator.
• Icebreaker and would you rather questions you save.

Clear your browser's site data for playroomy.com and all of it is gone.

Links you share

Game settings, such as a category or a timer, travel in the link's address so friends open the same setup. When you share teams, the names go after the # in the link. Browsers never send that part to a server.

What we do not do

• No accounts, sign-ups or passwords.
• No advertising trackers and no selling of data.
• No camera or microphone access.

Hosting and videos

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and block abuse. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. Rules videos come from YouTube's privacy-enhanced player and load only when you tap play. From then on, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that video.
